New vs. Used

Used equipment? A capital idea.

Most companies have limited access to capital funds. For small businesses especially, controlling capital outlay is key to minimizing risk. So savvy buyers are discovering pre-owned optical disc equipment as a smart alternative to factory-new machines.

“I have known Klaus Bierwagen since CD manufacturing began. We’ve done millions of dollars worth of business together.”
“His experience, technical competence, professionalism and personal integrity are impeccable…dealing with him saves me lots of time and hassle, and I never have to worry about getting a fair deal.”

and longtime K. Bierwagen customer.

CD replication machines - especially molding machines, metalizers, screen printers and packaging machines - are designed for heavy duty industrial use, 24/7, 365 days a year. With proper care and maintenance, they can run smoothly for decades with no appreciable loss of performance or quality.

For most companies’ needs, the difference in performance between new and used lines is insignificant. And the quality of discs produced on older replication lines with slower molding cycles and slower, gentler sputtering can be even better than those produced on new equipment.

For about half the price of a single, new CD replication line, you can get a high quality, used double line (or two single lines). A single operator can run up to three lines simultaneously, cutting the labor cost-per-disc by half to two-thirds. For half the money you get a higher yield and a lower cost-per-CD.

And you rechieve a positive return of investment (ROI) sooner.
