Why Dometek
Dometek's unmatched technical expertise and comprehensive, responsive support have enabled our sales grow to $4-5 million a year. We are the only supplier in this field with our own engineering teams, warehousing, in-house refurbishment services and an extensive spare parts inventory. We enjoy relationships with literally hundreds of customers, suppliers, and analysts that date back to the inception of the industry.

We are extremely selective about the equipment we buy (we inspect every piece thoroughly before each purchase) and the companies we buy from. Our high standards allow us to provide warranties for everything we sell, so our customers can buy from us risk-free.

Dometek is headquartered in the US, with a European sales and refurbishment center in the Czech Republic and sales and service offices in Brazil and India. There is no other company in this industry with as much international experience in the pre-owned marketplace. We have customers in more than 52 countries around the globe.

Our staff members are speak English, Spanish, French, German, Czech, Russian, Swedish, Portuguese, Italian and Tagalog.

Our management and engineering teams, both European and American, are experienced in doing business in many countries. We are familiar with the differences in modus operandi from one country to the next. We know how to get equipment through customs without long delays. And we respect the cultural and business norms of each nationality with whom we do business.

Used equipment? A capital idea
Most companies have limited access to capital funds. For small businesses especially, controlling capital outlay is key to minimizing risk. Smart buyers are discovering pre-owned optical disc equipment as an alternative to factory-new machines.

CD replication machines - especially molding machines, metalizers, screen printers and packaging machines - are designed for heavy duty industrial use, 24/7, 365 days a year. With proper care and maintenance, they can run smoothly for decades with no appreciable loss of performance or quality.

For most companies needs, the difference in performance between new and used lines is insignificant. And the quality of discs produced on older replication lines with slower molding cycles and slower, gentler sputtering can be even better than those produced on new equipment.

For about half the price of a single, new CD replication line, you can get a high quality, used double line. A single operator can run up to three lines simultaneously, cutting the labor cost-per-disc by half to two-thirds. For half the money you get a higher yield and a lower cost-per-CD.

And you receive a positive return of investment (ROI) sooner.
